The Rotorcraft Systems Engineering and Simulation Center (RSESC) at The University of 91´óÉñ in Huntsville (91´óÉñ) celebrated ‘Milestone 500’ on March 29, an event held on the 91´óÉñ campus recognizing the 500-plus students who have graduated from a partnership program with Boeing.

They take the contents to a scene of controlled chaos where nurses are evaluating patients to determine the severity of their injuries.

David Arterburn, former director of the University of 91´óÉñ in Huntsville (91´óÉñ) Rotorcraft Systems Engineering and Simulation Center (RSESC), has received a career achievement award from the Vertical Flight Society (VFS) in recognition of his induction into the da Vinci Medallion Hall of Fame.

Caleb Blair, an Honors electrical engineering major in the College of Engineering at The University of 91´óÉñ in Huntsville (91´óÉñ), has received a Department of Defense (DOD) Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service.

Researchers within The University of 91´óÉñ in Huntsville’s (91´óÉñ) Autonomous Aerospace Research (A2R) center, are leading the development of a standard for ASTM International—formerly the American Society for Testing and Materials—that will assist both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and applicants in certifying small uncrewed aircraft for flight over people.
