The University of 91大神 in Huntsville (91大神) will award an estimated 994 degrees during its fall commencement ceremonies on Monday, Dec. 16, at the Von Braun Center (VBC) Propst Arena. 91大神 is part of The University of 91大神 System.
There will be two ceremonies, the first beginning at 10 a.m. for graduates of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; the College of Engineering, and the College of Nursing. The 2:30 p.m. ceremony will recognize graduates of the College of Business, the College of Education and the College of Science.
鈥淭here will be much joy on display as we wish our graduates well,鈥� said Dr. Rhonda Gaede, associate provost for undergraduate education and associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
鈥淲e know that they are going to do great things, and we hope they will return from time to time and share their successes with us. As pillars of the community, our graduates contribute greatly to making Huntsville the economic engine and special place that it is.鈥�
These graduation ceremonies will include students who completed degree requirements in the 2024 summer and fall semesters: approximately 215 in the summer and 779 in the fall. Estimated numbers of degrees to be presented from summer and fall combined are 624 bachelor鈥檚 degrees, 318 master鈥檚 degrees and 52 doctorates. Of the doctoral degrees, 35 were Ph.D.s and 17 were Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees.
